Over spring break, I napped a lot and helped my mom out around the house. Wednesday, March 11th, my boyfriend and I went to Kalahari, which is an indoor waterpark. We were there all day, and went to Samurai after.

I am happy we went to Kalahari when we did because they closed it that Sunday because of the coronavirus.

Since then, I have been following the coronavirus closely. A staff worker in my hometown school district was the first person we heard about in our city having the virus. So, my brother and sister have been home as well. I’ve gone up to the school with them to get their lunches everyday the first week. Now, they are giving the kids lunches every other day to stop the frequency of socializing. It’s nice that they are also home because that gives me motivation to do my homework while they are, too, and some peace and quiet!

Being home, I have applied to six jobs, and have only heard back from two saying all positions are filled. I am upset because the two I have heard back from were hiring displaced college students returning home. But, with the coronavirus cases going up, I am not complaining. That is why I am so thankful that the university is giving us this opportunity to work remotely!

I have been staying busy by watching my siblings, cleaning the house, doing homework/homework dates with my boyfriend, playing games, and napping while cuddling with my dog! Yesterday I got Animal Crossing, Mario and Rabbids and Just Dance 2020, so I will not be bored while in quarantine!
