Dr. John Gillam
John D. Gillam, 80, a retired professor from Ohio University, died peacefully at home March 1, according to his obituary.
Gillam earned his Ph.D. from Michigan State University.
At OHIO, he started in the Mathematics Department and then moved to the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department. His early research was in group theory.
Private family services are being planned.
