Biology Donates Lab Coats, Gloves & Masks to O’Bleness Hospital

Biology supplies are donated to O’Bleness Hospital.

Ohio University’s Biological Sciences Department donated numerous supplies to O’Bleness Hospital on March 24, including 300 disposable lab coats, 280 boxes of gloves from the biology laboratory courses, and some masks.

Multiple faculty members such as Laura Saltman, Andrew Tucker, Nathan Weyand, Wendy Kaaz, and Mitch Day were involved with the donation process.

O’Bleness Hospital announced a drive-up, drop-off collection site, located in the parking lot of O’Bleness Hospital (55 Hospital Drive), which allows individuals to donate needed items. The site will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 25 through Friday, March 27, and Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 3. Future collection times and locations may be announced at a later date.
