Learn How Anthropological Research is Conducted, June 11

Dr. Nancy Tatarek, Ohio University Associate Professor of Anthropology, and students participating in the Appalachian Population History Project are leading an Anthropology Alive! workshop and tour for The Winding Road this Saturday, June 11, 2016, 10am-4pm at Buchtel St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Participants will learn about how anthropological research is conducted and about the Appalachian Population History Project.

By afternoon you will become part of the research team in the field at this historic cemetery, which is a burial ground for many of miners and their families.

The workshop-tour begins and ends at Ohio University Athens campus.

Lunch and transportation are included. $55 per person.
