In just three short weeks, or maybe sooner, your instructors will be handing out your final exams, inducing a collective wave of panic. Between now and then, there are several steps you can take to avoid that panic. Now is the best time to sit down with a blank calendar and organize a study plan for the next few weeks, so you’re not caught off guard. First, you will want collect all of your notes, quizzes, and tests and get them into order. Then, break down the course into units or 2-3 weeks of material. Once you’ve done that, mark a block of time on your calendar to study each unit for 1-2 hours every day until exam time. The last step is also the hardest: actually following the plan that you create.
