Dr. David A. Drabold, Distinguished Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Ohio University, gives an invited review lecture at  the University of Cambridge Department of Chemistry in March.

He will address “First principles simulations of phase-change materials” at the upcoming symposium, “Doped Amorphous Chalcogenides and Devices,” at Trinity College, University of Cambridge on March 27-28.

The aim of the symposium is to draw together researchers exploring the topic of doping in amorphous chalcogenides, with sessions focusing on modelling, ion implantation, electrical properties, structural and optical properties, and devices, organizers note. Drabold provides a review of progress in the modelling of doped systems for researchers working in this area.
