The Ohio University Bobcats and the Marching 110 made headlines Saturday night. The Bobcats posted their third consecutive win over the Marshall Thundering Herd Sept. 14, winning the “Battle of the Bell” against their long-time rivals from Huntington, WV.
And the Marching 110 was lauded for its cover of Ylvis’ “The Fox” viral video “in epic, choreographed fashion,” notes Entertainment Weekly, adding that “the Ohio University band is earning a reputation for its covers of trendy songs.”
On Monday night, Sept. 16, the Marching 110 travels to Cincinnati to perform during halftime of the ACF rivals Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers. The appearance marks the 12th time the Marching 110 has performed for the Bengals, and the first for a Monday Night Football game in many years. Kick-off is scheduled for 8:40 p.m.
