The Circleville Herald reported “Stanley earns Gerhardt family scholarship” on July 11.
Kathryn Elizabeth Stanley, a 2013 graduate of Circleville High School, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the Gerhardt Family Scholarship Fund.
Stanley plans to attend Ohio University this fall to pursue a career in Psychology. She played varsity softball for two years, varsity soccer for three years and was involved in American Field Service for three years. She was active in the National Honor Society and has been working at Circleville Physical Therapy since 2012.
With strong family, community and school support, Stanley was a role model of what hard work, dedication and desire can accomplish. She is the daughter of Julie and James Stanley.
