Dean Robert Frank and College of Arts & Sciences Research and Scholarship Committee invite faculty to participate in a workshop designed to enhance their grant submissions and funding success.
The workshop “Increasing Your Grants Intelligence” is Monday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon in Baker 242.
Light refreshments will be provided.
The workshop will include brief presentations by the dean and the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects, as well as an open Q&A session designed to facilitate discussion among investigators from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels.
Topics to be covered include:
- Creating a career trajectory of grant writing
- Developing a competitive grant proposal
- Potential funding sources
- Developing a budget
- Assembling a strong investigative team
- Grant funding resources available at Ohio University
- Personal stories and questions from the participants
