Global Divestment Day from fossil fuels is Friday, Feb. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Baker Center Front Room at Ohio University.
The event features a panel discussion about divestment from fossil fuels, with panelists:
- Dr. Dan Karney (Energy Economics)
- Dr. Gary Coombs (Business Management)
- Dr. Nancy Manring, Associate Professor of Political Science and faculty leader of the Sustainability Studies theme
- Dr. Alyssa Bernstein, Associate Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Institute for Applied and Professional Ethics
- Ohio University Graduate Student Senate President Carl Smith.
This event is initiated by the Environmental Committee of the Ohio University Student Senate and sponsored by the Institute for Applied and Professional Ethics.
