The Bioinformatics Journal Club presents “Will Sequencing Your Genes Change The Way You Live — And Die?” on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 4:35 p.m. in the Academic and Research Center (ARC)  321. The discussion leader is Ashwini Naik.

View Richard Resnick’s TED Talk on “Will Sequencing Your Genes Change The Way You Live — And Die?” In this talk, Resnick shows how cheap and fast genome sequencing is about to turn health care (even insurance, and politics) upside down.

The Bioinformatics Journal Club provides a discussion forum for research articles from the premier journals and conferences in the field of computational biology.  The forum is open to all members of the Ohio University community.  Please email suggestions for discussion topics to welch@ohio.edu. Discussion questions and more at the Bioinformatics website.

Meetings are Tuesdays from 4:35 to 5:25 p.m. in ARC 321.
