ScribeAmerica hires and trains medical and veterinary scribes to work alongside physicians and veterinarians in health-care facilities nationwide.
They are looking for graduating pre health and pre-vet seniors who plan on taking a gap year for openings in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Ironton.

Vet Scribe positions are only available in Cincinnati and Dayton at this time. For Medical Scribe Positions in Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Ironton, candidates must be able to work at least two weekdays per week 8-5 p.m. for a minimum of a year.
Scribes provide real-time charting for providers and veterinarians by shadowing them throughout their shifts. Scribes will:
- Work side by side with physicians or veterinarians as they see patients
- Document the patient history, chief complaint, physical exam and procedures
- Prepare plans for follow up care
- Assist with other clerical duties for the provider
