Will Quanrud Awarded Distinguished Professor Scholarship

Ohio University junior Will Quanrud was awarded the Edwin and Ruth Kennedy Distinguished Professor Scholarship by Dr. Damian Nance, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Geological Sciences.

All Ohio University Distinguished Professors can award the full-tuition scholarship to a student of their choosing each year.

Quanrud was chosen based on a combination of his overall GPA, the degree of difficulty of the course load, and his overall enthusiasm for geology as a discipline.
