Ecolunch presents Cassandra Thompson discussing “Is there really a prince underneath that frog?” on April 22 from 11:50 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in Irvine 159.
Thompson is a graduate student in Biological Sciences “broadly interested in amphibian responses to climate change. Her current research focuses on assessing how environmental factors such as shorter hydro-periods and higher temperatures experienced during development affect the fitness of two anurans (wood frogs and American toads) throughout an entire annual cycle (carryover effect).” Her adviser is Dr. Viorel Popescu, Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences.
Ecolunch is a long-running Ohio University seminar series that meets on Wednesdays from 11:50 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in Irvine 159. All seminars are open to the public.
