Editor’s Note: The Happy Beginnings series features recent College of Arts & Sciences graduates who are getting started in careers, graduate school and service.

Ohio University alum Adrianna Michaels ’19 is the new Morning Meteorologist at Dayton 24/7 Now, the FOX and ABC affiliate in Dayton, Ohio.

Michaels earned a B.S. in Geography-Meteorology from the College of Arts & Sciences at OHIO and was a forecaster for WOUB.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to stay in my home state and do what I love as the morning meteorologist at Dayton 24/7 Now. As a Cleveland native and an Ohio University Bobcat, being in the state I call home is a dream come true!

I graduated Cum Laude from Ohio University in May of 2019 with a Meteorology degree and a Journalism minor from the Scripps College of Communication. During my time at Ohio U, I interned at Cleveland 19 in Cleveland and WBNS 10TV in Columbus. Shortly after graduation, I started my career at WLIO in Lima, Ohio as their weekend meteorologist but quickly moved to mornings….
