Dr. Joseph Lee
The second session of the Linguistics Colloquia Series presents Dr. Joseph Lee presenting on “e-Portfolio: Digital Representation of Professional Self” on Friday, September 13, from 12:55 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. in Gordy 301.
Lee is an Associate Professor in the Linguistics Department and the Associate Director of English Language Improvement Program (ELIP).
Abstract: Lee will talk about e-portfolios as a way to represent the self as a professional. I first introduce what a professional portfolio is, why developing one is useful, and what possible items might be included. I then share some free and user-friendly website builders to host an e-portfolio and show sample e-portfolios.
