OHIO Student Farm First Harvest Veggie Sales, May 14 and 16

The Ohio University Student Farm hosts its first harvest and sale of the season on Tuesday, May 14, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Atrium Cafe in Grover Hall.

The Food Studies theme also hosts a veggie sale at the Athens County Commissioner’s Office between the courthouse and the annex on 15 S. Court St. on Thursday, May 16, from 3 to 5 p.m.

As always, proceeds from the sale help to fund Food Studies internships for OHIO students interested in learning about local food systems. Thank you for your continued support!

The garden harvest:

  • Strawberries**
  • Broccoli
  • Spinach
  • Lettuce**
  • Other mixed greens
  • Cilantro

**Available in bulk order. Please, email Allison Paolucci at ap044518@ohio.edu if you are interested in a bulk order or have any questions! Out of courtesy for harvesters and staff, please place all bulk orders before 1 p.m. on Fridays for Friday pick-up!

Remember that as the season changes so does the veggie selection; check back weekly for new items.

Directions to the OHIO Student Farm: Drive down West State Street. Pass Miller’s Chicken and pass a couple paved roads on your right that go to the Innovation Center. Right after that there is a gravel drive on the right. Turn here and go down; the farm is on the right. Park across the drive in the field on the left.
