AthensWorks hosts the first gathering of the Athens Data Geeks at a meetup on Tuesday, April 9, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at AthensWorks, a co-working space located in the Central Venue at 29 Carpenter St. in Uptown Athens.
Campus and community members are invited.

Athens Data Geek Meetups are organized to share experiences, projects, and love of data and analysis in all its many various forms—and to socialize with like-minded analysts, programmers, geographers, economists, researchers, and data wonks (to name a few).
The plan is for a couple of lightning talks (short, focused presentations), discussion, then socializing over some free pizza.
