Dr. Josh Hill, Assistant Professor of History at Ohio University, was named a 2019 Fellow in the National Asia Research Program.
The National Bureau of Asian Research and the Institute for National Security Studies at the National Defense University annually select a group of scholars as National Asia Research Fellows.
“The program builds stronger bridges between the academic and policy communities. It provides training opportunities to a group of rising Asia scholars to develop skills necessary to deliver policy-relevant research. For the 2019 class, twenty NARP fellows with diverse functional and regional expertise were selected in a competitive, nationwide process,” according to the NARP press release.
NBR and NDU will convene a major two-day policy conference featuring presentations by NARP fellows and senior Asia experts in June 2019.
Hill most recently published Voting as a Rite: A History of Elections in Modern China with Harvard University Press.
