Chemistry and Biochemistry | New Chemistry Building Activity

Scheduled activity for the new Chemistry Building during the weeks of Jan. 7 and Jan. 14.

Jan. 7

• Continue installation of Sanitary and Storm piping and structures.  Involves deep excavations, backfill and compaction of soil, hauling/trucking on and off site.
• Install Sanitary line to Surface Science Lab.     NOTE – Tentatively, Pedestrian Access to Surface Science will be shutdown Thursday from 8-12pm.
• Perform testing of Sanitary Lines.  NOTE – This will require a ramp on the multi-modal pathway.

Jan. 14

• Continue installation of Sanitary and Storm piping and structures.  Involves deep excavations, backfill and compaction of soil, hauling/trucking on and off site.
• Perform testing of Sanitary lines.
• Continue building pad prep.  Involves moving/grading soil.
• Gas Line Phase 2 Installation
