Abstract: Most equate anthropologists doing fieldwork with exotic locations and dramatic discoveries. Few think of archival work as exotic or even exciting. Certainly most never think of archives as dramatic. What do anthropologists who study anthropology actually DO in the archives? Come along on a journey to find out what happens in the archives. It might not be too exotic, but it IS often filled with excitement AND dramatic discoveries as the stories of people’s lives are uncovered.
