Attend a part of the 90 Minutes Series, where Jerry Givens, a former executioner in Virginia, will be interviewed by journalist David Raterman, an Ohio University alum, on Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. in Morton 201.
Raterman, a graduate from the Scripps School of Journalism, will be having an honest conversation with Givens, about whom he is writing a biography.
The 90 Minute Series focuses on bringing guest speakers to discuss the world around us in a thoughtful, honest manner.
The interview is being sponsored by the Black Student Cultural Programming Board, Associated Press Sports Editors, Housing and Residence Life, Office of Student Affairs, E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, Scripps Diversity Committee, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Honors Tutorial College, the Center for Law, Justice & Culture, Office of the President, Kennedy Lecture Series, Institute for Applied and Professional Ethics, and the Students Activities Commission.
