Eberts to Talk about Athens Asylum Employees at History Center, Oct. 18

As the fifth installment in the Athens Asylum Sesquicentennial Series, George Eberts, a long-time Asylum employee, will share stories of the men and women who lived, worked, and left their mark at the Athens Asylum on Thursday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. at the the Southeast Ohio History Center

The series is sponsored by the Southeast Ohio History Center.

Eberts is now an astronomy assistant in Physics & Astronomy at Ohio University.

“This event is free and open to the public, thanks to the generous support of Ohio Humanities and Ohio University. Additional support comes from BDT Architects and Designers, Athens City Historic Preservation Commission, and the Athens County Commissioners,” according to the center’s website.
