As in years past, the Modern Languages Department has celebrated Dia de los Muertos with a traditional altar, and this year is no exception.

The altar is decorated with sugar skulls, candles, and flowers in remembrance of the dead and will be available for viewing Tuesday, Oct. 31, through Friday, Nov. 3.

Please feel free to bring pictures of those who have passed to contribute to the altar, but please label them on the back for identification purposes. Pictures will be available to pick up beginning Monday, Nov. 5 in Gordy 283.

Class visits to view the Gordy Hall second floor display are welcome beginning Tuesday morning, Oct 31.

There are some wonderful websites with pictures and descriptions of the great celebration.

The decorations on display until late afternoon, Friday, Nov. 3.
