Biological Sciences Undergraduate Honors Thesis Presentations, April 21

The Biological Sciences Department continues its Honors Thesis Presentations on Friday, April 21, in Irvine 159.

At 4 p.m., Corey Hayes, an Honors Tutorial College Neuroscience student, presents his thesis on “Brain Bugs: An Infestation of Pressures to Perform Among Pre-College Student Athletes,” His mentor is Dr. Jacob Okumu.

At 5 p.m., Austin Stevens, an undergraduate pursuing Biological Sciences Department Honors, presents his thesis on “Determining the chemoresistance effects of growth hormone (GH) and growth hormone receptor (GHR) action in human pancreatic cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma,” His mentor is Dr. John Kopchick.
