The Psychology Colloquium series presents Dr. Ryan Brindle on “Psychological Stress: Exploring Individual Differences in Stress Responsivity” on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at noon in Porter 102.

Brindle is a postdoctoral research fellow with the T32 Translational Research Training in Sleep Medicine program at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Behavioral Medicine from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, where his research focused on cardiovascular and autonomic nervous system responses to episodes of acute mental and physical stress. Brindle’s current interests include applying his training in psychophysiology and stress and stress to sleep medicine in an effort to better understand the interactions between sleep and stress and how these factors contribute to the development and progression of cardiovascular disease.
