The Food Studies theme presents Food for Thought with Drs. Ruth Palmer and William Owens on Oct. 20, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Athens Uncorked.

Food studies theme logoThis event is a part of OHIO Archaeology Month and in recognition of 30 years of the Field School in Ohio Archaeology.

The talk is titled “Ancient People, Ancient Drinks: the Archaeology of Wine and Fermentation.”

The event is free and open to the public.

Owens is Associate Professor and Chair of Classics & World Religions at Ohio University. Palmer is Associate Professor of Classics.
