Esno, a graduate student in History, holds the Baker Peace Dissertation Fellowship this year. His talk, titled “Reagan’s Economic Cold War,” challenges accusations that the Reagan administration sought to wage economic warfare against the Soviet Union, and analyze the allied negotiations, controversies, and compromises to forge a collective, security-minded approach to Cold War economic relations.

Esno earned a History B.A. at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh (2010) and a History M.A. (2012) at Ohio University.
