Linguistics Hosts Computer Assisted Language Learning Conference, April 11

The Ohio University CALL Conference will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 11, with a keynote from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Friends of the Library room.

CALL is computer-assisted language learning.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Paige Ware of Southern Methodist University on “Feedback for Adolescent Writers: What Difference Might the Mode Make?

Concurrent sessions throughout the day are in Gordy Hall.

“We have had about 120 participants join us each spring for the past five years, and we look forward to another great turnout,” says organizer Dr. Greg Kessler, Director of the Language Resource Center in the College of Arts & Sciences and Associate Professor of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) in the Department of Linguistics at Ohio University.
