The Linguistics Colloquium series presents Nataliia Kavun discussing “Ecological Learning Spaces: Students’ Experiences of Online Learning” on Friday, March 5, from 12:55-1:50 p.m. via Microsoft TEAMS.

Kavun is a Ph.D. student in Instructional Technology at Ohio University. She is also an Ohio University alumna, having earned an M.A. in Linguistics in 2017 and an M.Ed. in 2020.

Abstract:  This presentation will present preliminary results of the dissertation on the mentioned above topic. It will discuss the concept of learning ecology and the construction of ecological learning spaces by undergraduate students. The study uses a survey methodology to explore the experiences of the learners. The presentation will help to understand the concept of the ecological learning space and its importance for the learners in online learning.
