Abstract: One of the most intriguing questions in physics today is the nature of dark energy that is responsible for the accelerated expansion of the Universe. Among several dark energy probes, the large-scale structure of the Universe from galaxy surveys provides a giant laboratory to test the nature of the Universe.
In this talk, I will summarize how we have been measuring the dark energy properties and, as an alternative model to dark energy, testing a deviation from General relativity using the two main features in the large-scale structure, Baryon Acoustic Oscillations due to primordial sound waves and redshift-space distortions due to cosmic flow.
