The Contemporary History Institute presents a screening of an episode of Ken Burns and Lynn Novick’s documentary, The Vietnam War on March 2, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in Bentley 124.

CHI will screen episode five of the Burns and Novick series, titled ‘This Is What We Do’ (July 1967-December 1967). A discussion follows, led by a Vietnam War veteran and an Iraq and Afghanistan War veteran. All are welcome at this free public event.

This is the second public event associated with “Coming Home from War,” a National Endowment for the Humanities-funded program run by the institute that brings together area veterans and service members to reflect on their service, war, and homecoming experiences through conversations about humanities sources (film, fiction, poetry, theater).
