Career Week | Roundtables, Resume Review and Recruiters, Feb. 1

  • No Student RSVP needed. All events are free and open.

Come early to the networking reception for some special time with Arts & Sciences alumni at Roundtables, Resume Review and Recruiters on Thursday, Feb. 1, from 3 to 5 p.m., Baker Ballroom.

Then head to the Networking Reception for Arts & Sciences Students and Alumni on Feb. 1 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. (come for whatever fits your schedule) in Baker Center Ballroom B. Students who RSVP will get free business cards to use at the reception.

Maria Maiorana ’14 is a technical recruiting coordinator with CoverMyMeds, one of the fastest growing healthcare technology companies in the United States.

She graduated from Ohio University in 2014 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. After graduation, she moved to Columbus and started her first job in Customer Support at a business equipment/sales organization. In 2015, she moved over to an HR Administrator role at an IT recruiting firm. She joined CoverMyMeds in 2016 as an account specialist on the support team. A year later, she accepted a promotion on CoverMyMeds’ Recruiting team to pursue her passion for talent management.

Stephanie Miller of Biological Sciences and Corey Beck of Chemistry & Biochemistry will host a reunion table for STEMstart participants to discuss science careers. “Dr. Beck and I would like to see you, catch up with how your are performing in your courses, provide academic advising, hear your feedback about your first or second year at OHIO,” says Miller.
