He is from New Philadelphia, Ohio, where his parents Jeff and Jackie still reside. Triplett’s younger brother, Kendall Triplett, is a 2015 graduate of Ohio University.

Triplett joined the Ohio University Alumni Association Board of Directors in 2015. The OUAA Board of Directors is composed of 28 OHIO graduates who uphold the association’s mission to connect, inform, serve and engage alumni with their alma mater.

“I could think of no better way to give back to the University that gave so much to me than by being a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors,” Triplett said. “I hope to bring the perspective of recent alumni to the board, and I want to work with current students to see how the Alumni Association can better serve them, especially as they enter into the professional world.”

Triplett also serves on the Ohio University Student Senate Alumni Society board, where he advocates for OHIO Student Senate through mentoring, fundraising and event planning for the organization.
