The Center for the Student Legal Services is encouraging students to apply for five open positions on the Board of Directors no later than April 13, 2021.

The board is looking to fill five at-large director positions. At-large directors will be considered for one-year and two-year terms. The board is composed of Ohio University students, and the body governs the Center for Student Legal Services. CSLS is a non-profit law firm that provides legal advice and representation to Ohio University students.

“Students who serve on the center’s board gain valuable non-profit law firm management experience,” said Larry Hayman, Center for Law, Justice & Culture Pre-Law Specialist and adviser to the CSLS’s Board of Directors. “Board members also play a vital role in furthering the CSLS’s mission and ensuring its continuing existence. CSLS is such an incredible resource for OHIO students to have at Ohio University.”

The application for the director positions can be found on the CSLS website. If you have questions or would like further information, please contact Courtney Boyd at the Center for Student Legal Services at courtney@studentlegalrights.org.
