The Linguistics Colloquium Series presents Dr. Molly Bukky discussing “University policies prohibiting discrimination in the context of Title IX” on Friday, Sept. 18, from 12:55 to 1:50 p.m.

Bukky is the Training Coordinator and Civil Rights Investigator with Ohio University Equity and Civil Rights Compliance.

Abstract: One in six women and one in 33 men will be the victim of sexual assault in their lifetime (RAINN.org). The colloquium will discuss such questions as how to clarify consent with sexual partners, when, if, and how to report sexual misconduct that has been reported to them, what is and is not considered workplace harassment, and what constitutes stalking.
