Over this semester I decided that Wildlife Conservation just isn’t for me, so I started the path of creating my own major and combining the years I’ve spent with Wildlife Conservation and Prop Production and Set Design to make something entirely new.

Over spring break, I began using my mom’s sewing machine to begin practicing and also working on some portfolio building works. I have always been pretty adept at hand sewing, but using a machine was much faster and fun! The machine had embroidery stitch options and was really easy and fun to use. Hopefully I can use it more when I go back home.

My favorite thing I made over break was a large fuzzy worm with googly eyes. My best friend came over and we sewed them together.

We also have plans to open an Etsy shop together over summer and sell these worms. Hopefully that will work out.
