The 26th annual Ohio University Philosophy Forum welcomes Professor Rachana Kamtekar of the Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University.

As part of her visit to Ohio University, Kamtekar will give a public lecture titled “Guilt without Blame for Accidental Injuries” on Thursday, March 26, at 4 p.m., in Scripps Hall 111.

The Ohio University Philosophy Forum, established in 1984, gives students the opportunity to study recent work of famous philosophers, followed by two days of intensive seminar and discussion with the author.

Kamtekar specializes in ancient Greek philosophy. In addition to her highly acclaimed, Plato’s Moral Psychology: Intellectualism, the Divided Soul, and Desire for Good (Oxford University Press, 2017), she has authored more than 30 articles in high profile venues and is the editor of three collections of essays in ancient philosophy.

The public lecture is free and open to the public.
