Ohio University’s Geological Sciences Department announces a fully online M.S. in Geological Sciences.

Flexible, seven-week courses are designed for working geoscience professionals and earth science teachers. The M.S. in Geological Sciences is the degree-level most often sought by employers in geological sciences.

The online non-thesis program provides geology graduates and those from related STEM disciplines with advanced, applied training and experiences through a wide range of topics in earth sciences, including environmental geology, geodata analytics, sedimentary geology, planetary geology, and paleontology.

No thesis: A thesis is not required; instead, students develop a written report that demonstrates their ability to synthesize learning across the knowledge, skills, and research process developed during the program with the guidance of faculty mentors.
