The George Washington Forum presents Dr. Amy Wax discussing “What is Happening to the Family and Why” on Thursday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Galbreath Chapel on the College Green.

Amy Wax is Robert Mundheim Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she has taught since 2001. A graduate of Yale University, she was a Marshall Scholar at the University of Oxford before earning an M.D. from Harvard Medical School and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. As an Assistant to the Solicitor General in the Office of the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Wax argued 15 cases before the United States Supreme Court. Afterwards she taught at the University of Virginia Law School for sixteen years before moving to the University of Pennsylvania. This event receives support from the Jack Miller Center through a grant from the Thomas W. Smith Foundation.
