Love and Hate | From #BlackLivesMatter to the White Power Presidency, Sept. 26

The Love & Hate theme fall event features speaker Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor on “From #BlackLivesMatter to the White Power Presidency” on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. in Schoonover 145.

This event is hosted by the Love and Hate Theme Committee in conjunction with the departments of African American Studies, History, Political Science, and Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies.

Taylor is an award-winning author on race and inequality as well as Black politics and social movements in the United States. Her books include From #BlackLivesMatter to Black Liberation and How We Get Free: Black Feminism and the Combahee River Collective.

Taylor is a Distinguished Lecturer for the Organization of American Historians and an Assistant Professor in the Department of African American Studies at Princeton University.
