Gazette: ‘Chillicothe’s First Family Put on Teaching Hats’

Ohio University alum Luke Feeney ’02 is teaching Themes in Global Politics this fall at Ohio University’s Chillicothe campus, according to a Chillicothe Gazette story headline “Chillicothe’s first family put on teaching hats.”

Feeney earned a B.A. in Political Science–Pre-Law from the College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio University.

Mayor Luke Feeney and his wife Stacy Brooks both donned the role of adjunct professor this fall semester at OUC.

“I never really pictured myself teaching in a college setting, but I have always enjoyed being around students and in an academic atmosphere,” Luke said. “It’s especially fun for me to be teaching at Ohio University, my alma mater.”

Luke graduated from Ohio University Athens with a bachelor’s degree in political science before earning his law degree  from Case Western Reserve Law School.
