Law Fair Features 48 Law Schools, Oct. 22

The Center for Law, Justice & Culture presents a Law Fair on Monday, Oct. 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Ping Center, Area D

“Ohio University’s Law Fair provides OHIO students with the invaluable opportunity of networking one-on-one with law school admissions representatives from around the country,” says Larry Hayman, Pre-Law Advisor & Specialist.

“Students will be able to learn about different law schools, their admission requirements, their areas of specialization, and a host of other information directly from the individuals who are responsible for coordinating the admission process, and often, making admission decisions. As an added bonus, many law schools provide fee waivers—which will allow qualified students to apply for free!” Hayman says.

Law schools from around the country will be represented at the event. Students will have the opportunity to receive information about law school and ask questions of the representatives from each school. Students will also have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the representatives who are often involved in the school’s admissions departments. Students who are remotely considering law school will find this a great opportunity to learn more about each law school on an individual basis.

“It is never too early to start collecting information and making introductions,” Hayman adds, noting that the event is open to all undergraduate students and OHIO alumni.

This event is annually hosted by Ohio University’s Center for Law, Justice & Culture.
