While getting ready for Finals Week, remember to view the finals schedule to make sure you know where and when your final exams will be. Also, before saying goodbye to you until the next fall, let me remind you of some summer opportunities that can maximize your potential:

  • Take classes to catch up on credit hours, requisites, or to help with graduating early. There are many online options if you won’t be staying in Athens.
  • Job shadow a professional in the field(s) you’re interested in.
  • Work, volunteer, or complete an internship. Any type of experience in the field is invaluable.
  • READ! Classical literature broadens your worldview extensively.
  • Catch up with old friends. Keeping your connections open can help lead to job possibilities.
  • Last but not least, travel, even if it’s just a few hours from home. Experiencing new places broadens your horizons, helps you find a new purpose, and allows you to learn more about the world and yourself.

Have a great summer and come rested and inspired in the fall 2018!
