Are you planning to take a course at another college or university over the summer and transfer the credit back to Ohio University? If so, your first step should be to complete a transient form and return it with the course description and syllabi to Kristi Conrad in Wilson Hall for pre-approval.

However, that may not be all that you have to do. The college or university that you plan to attend may have requirements as well. Be sure that you have been admitted to that school. Find out if they require a copy of your transcript or if they need any information from Ohio University regarding our acceptance of those classes. And of course it is also important to know how to request transcripts from them to be sent to Ohio University.

Get in touch with both schools to be sure that your transient experience is as smooth as possible.

For Ohio University College of Arts & Sciences questions on transfer and transient credit, please contact Kristi Conrad at conradk@ohio.edu.
