Poetry Reading by Maggie Smith and Deni Naffziger | March 15

A new poetry series, Spoken & Heard: Poetry of Departure and Relevance, is debuting March 15 at The Dairy Barn Arts Center in Athens.

Thursday’s reading will feature internationally acclaimed poet Maggie Smith, author of the collection Good Bones.

Maggie Smith’s poem, “Good Bones,” is widely referred to as “the official poem of 2016.”

Opening for Smith will be Deni Naffziger, OHIO alum (’84) and adjunct instructor in OHIO’s English Department.

Future readings will take place on April 19, May 24, and June 14.
