Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, located in Columbus, seeks seasonal Butterflies and Animal Care Assistants to participate in exhibit-related programming and perform all tasks associated with the successful operation of the Conservatory’s Blooms and Butterflies exhibition.
This role rotates from monitoring the entrance to the exhibition and communicating about the U.S. Department of Agriculture policies with conservatory visitors, to providing daily demonstrations and interacting with visitors in the biome. The Butterflies and Animal Care Assistant helps maintain the Emergence Center and the conservatory’s animal collections.
The position requires one year experience or college coursework in biology, entomology, or a related field.
