Biology in Your World | Roads & Box Turtles, April 21

The Biological Sciences Graduate Society has coordinated a series of biology talks for the public at the Athens Public Library. The “Biology in Your World” series if free and open to the public.

The Athens Public Library is at 30 Home St., 740-592-4272.

Roads & Box Turtles

Saturday, April 21 @ 2 p.m.

Roadways are the single largest man-made structure in the United States, and they have many effects on wildlife. Turtles are greatly impacted because they are slow and often use roadway habitats.

This program will share research findings on how a new roadway in the Nelsonville, Ohio, area affects Eastern Box Turtles.
