I hope you have all had a warm welcome back to campus and enjoyed seeing your old friends, as well as welcoming new ones during the first week of the spring term. As you move on to week two, remember to:

  • Drop a class if you have decided against taking it – Friday, Jan. 26, is the last day to do so without the class showing up on your record.
  • Ask your instructor for a permission slip if you still need to add a class.
  • Complete a graduation check if you are a junior or a senior. Graduation checks can be completed at the Undergraduate Student Affairs Office in Wilson Hall (College Green). You can stop in during our regular walk in hours on Wednesdays from 9-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m., Thursdays from 1-4 p.m., or call to schedule an appointment at 740-593-2845.
  • Stop by for our new Wednesday walk-in career coaching with Kacey Schaum, Assistant Director for the Career and Leadership Development Center, 9-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. in Wilson Hall on College Green
  • Introduce yourself to faculty during their office hours. Remember, office hours are designed to help you get extra help or answer any questions you may have about your classes. Faculty love getting to know their students outside of class, too!
  • Explore the university beyond the classroom – find a club or organization to join.
  • Stay curious and inquisitive about the matters that you study and let your interests guide your learning!
