Modern Languages Names Study Abroad Photo Contest Winners

The Modern Languages Department celebrated International Education Week on Nov. 14 with “Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Making the Most of Study Abroad with Modern Languages.”

The evening was an enjoyable homecoming for students who recently returned from languages programs in places as diverse as Salzburg, Cuenca, Italy, France, Mexico, Moscow and Toledo. They shared their memories from abroad and reflected on the new knowledge and skills they had brought home with more than 50 students in attendance. Other OHIO students got to hear about the opportunities for language and cultural immersion from their peers and from faculty directors, as well as enjoying international snacks and a dance lesson.

Part of the celebration included a two-week long photo contest with winners in four categories. The winners and their photographs:
